Here's a short history of Affirmative Action:

The first affirmative-action measure in America was an executive order signed by President Kennedy in 1961 requiring that federal contractors “take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, creed, color, or national origin.” In 1967, President Johnson amended this, and a subsequent measure included sex, recognizing that women also faced many discriminatory barriers and hurdles to equal opportunity. Meanwhile, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 only included sex in the list of prohibited forms of discrimination because conservative opponents of the legislation hoped that including it would sway moderate members of Congress to withdraw their support for the bill. Still, in a nation where white women and black people were once considered property — not allowed to own property themselves and not allowed to vote — it was clear to all those who were seeking fairness and opportunity that both groups faced monumental obstacles.

Sally Kohn: Affirmative Action Helps White Women More Than Others | TIME.com

Since I entered the workforce in the 1970s, I can honestly say that hiring women for management jobs in male dominated industries didn't really start happening until around 1980. I would know because I was one of those women. I entered a field where 99.9% of the workers were men. Affirmative Action had a lot to do with those types of hires in those days.

I did not. I was one of those PUMAs.

But please, since you volunteered, please research my posts. I would like to reread what I wrote back then.

So a man asks a woman to change into a bikini, she does it, and now she is a victim?

Hard to believe, people want to join his death squads to go round up 1 out 29 people in the country to deport with no pathway to citizenship.
This will only backfire on the left with independents. People are sick of the media.....

Indeed. And especially as an employee at a beach resort where it's expected.

but they love meme's on facebook. By all accounts Trump is winning on Social Media. "People" who are sick of the media are the people who listen to Alex Jones and plug their fingers in their ears when the story they hear doesn't agree with the narrative they have been fed.

That wasn't the point of that story. The point was she was a prize to him in his bizarro rich fantasy loser world. Very Biff Tannen. She needed to be showed off for what she was worth, some b00bs and ass.

That was the attempt. It was a hit job by the NYT on Trump, using hearsay anecdotes. The fact the lady gave such a poor accounting of what happened only speaks to this.

There isn't one accusation of anything done wrong by Trump, law broken by Trump, no harassment, nothing. If you are looking for that sort of thing, you are looking at the wrong candidate. Now if you really want to see, as you put it "bizarro rich fantasy loser world", Bill Clinton will give you that and much more. That is when Hillary isn't railroading women to keep it quiet.
