Good luck supporting a candidate who doesn't even think she will win.

She's gonna lose by historic proportions. She can't even beat a 75 year old hippy communist porn author with one arm tied behind his back by the DNC.

Waste of time to send in money to that campaign.

If by "hippy communist," you mean Bernie Sanders who is nether a hippy nor a communist, Mrs. Clinton is already beating him by every measure.

Trump can win if Democrats think that they don't need to come out to vote because Hillary has it in the bag. That's the message of that email, regardless of what you read into it.

Nope.

He keeps beating her in state after state, and will no doubt win Kentucky tomorrow.

Getting through to them a little bit is working. That is progress.

I guess the thinking by the OP and others is: If a candidate thinks that he or she has the presidential election 'in the bag', then their would be no need for he or she to request campaign donations.

I would find it passing strange if Ms. Clinton sent out letters saying "I have it in the bag; no need to donate; no real need to even vote in November".

I will note that Mr. Trump is assiduously making peace with the Republican Party, so that he may benefit from their own campaign war chest. He may have self-funded much of the primaries, but he appears to have no desire to self-fund the money required for a General Election. I do not blame him.

I mean, if Mr. Trump 'has it in the bag' as so many herein say, then he should say that he has no need of campaign funds for the general election. Do I have it right?

The letter speaks for itself.

I see that you didn't even grasp the email you quoted.

Don't be surprised if Obama doesn;t figure out a loophole that allows him to run a thrid time.... at the very last minute of course. HRC is dispensible.

given obama goes around to college commencements and gives election speeches instead of inspring the grads to greatness, one has to wonder. No way the socialists are going down in November without an all out, no holds barred, legally challenged borderline criminal fight.
