IMO, McCain should have retired "gracefully" some time ago. 2008 would have been a good year to do it.

But this establishment codger is still around and trying to score another 6 years in the Senate. I hope the people in AZ have the good sense to send him home this time.

Easy fix. All McCain has to do is compliment Trump and his poll numbers will go through the roof. Talk about the wall. Disrespect the Muslims. People don't really like Muslims do they?

Good - hopefully he loses and we can clamor for another establishment politician falling by the way side.

I think McCain is trying to be the first Senator that has to be wheeled in to vote due to old age

I thought polls 6 months out are "meaningless"? Your own words in multiple posts. You contradict yourself hourly.

He won't be the first. I'm sure there are others but Byrd had to be wheeled in.

Exactly! McCain seems to think he has been appointed Senator for life. It's time he retires and lets in some new Republican blood in the Senate, someone who is not so politically correct and someone who will stand up against illegal aliens and the leftist. I hope he's done in politics and can go home and live out the rest of his life comfortably.
