Understand that in no way am I saying that she is completely honest, only that the whole "most dishonest ever!" has been blown to incredibly dumb proportions. Sure, she's lied about things in the past. Has she necessarily lied more than the average politician? Not that I'm seeing. And the studies done about candidate statements have her actually as more honest than most, including Trump. People don't want to hear that though. For decades now, the narrative of Hillary's dishonest has been sold and a lot of people have simply not bothered to verify how true it was. Now it seems to be a foregone conclusion. I call this a symptom of the death of intellectual curiosity or merely doing due dilligence with truth. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and I'm not seeing the evidence.
She hasn't "lies about things".
She has continually deceived almost every step of the way during her public life.
Her being deceptive and dishonest originated with her very own behavior, she owns it.
That's funny. As much as the Clintons have been involved in fraud, dead bodies, scandal and Court Actions, from the day they came on the scene with Whitewater, you want to claim that "Uneducated" belongs to those who have kept up, know their history, and can actually see. That's Hilarious. "Uneducated" is a trait that belongs to Lemmings, as they follow the leader over a cliff.
If the Clintons are so terrible, why haven't they even spent a day in jail?
The answer is: They aren't so terrible. A lot of those things you speak of are manufactured scandals (manufactured for your benefit - think of them as being "entertainment") that RWers pay a lot of money to read about and to "support" their honest hucksters.
The people digging this stuff up for the last 30 years (Judicial Watch, Citizens United, some of the people on Free Republic, etc.) make a lot of money with this cottage industry (investigating the "Clinton scandals") and I don't think any of them would like to see their paydays disappear.

If Trump's not all "zingers" and no facts, then he's 90% zingers and 10% facts. Even in the latter case, the facts he presents are either one sided or well out of context. After almost a year of his petty remarks (to say the least), it should be clear than Trump's all (bad) style and no substance. At least the college-educated upper middle class seems to be abandoning him. In the mind of what we used to call Yuppies (is there a more current term for them?), the only thing worse than bad politics is bad taste. It's about time that petty disdain for bad taste (as they define it, at least) got put to good use.

Overall, the Clinton Team says that Hillary is approaching the debates like a series of job interviews with the American electorate, in which she should come across as the sober and serious alternative to Trump, and so she’s hyper-preparing accordingly.
Trump, on the other hand, has no official debate team, and is apparently skipping the policy prep and rehearsals so he can rely on his natural talents and showmanship. What preparation he is doing, at least right now, consists of hosting Sunday get-togethers with friends, advisors, and family to test pitches and zingers over cheeseburgers and soda.
it's telling when comedians and actors are being used as sparring partners instead of knowledgeable political experts that were used in past elections - that's because Trump is a cartoon caricature and not knowledgeable on what's important (policy details).

No doubt, Phil, the most educated members of society want nothing to do with Trump. I do wonder, though, if he's ever had that base--so, I'm not sure if abandoning is the right word. [Any rational person can see that his base comprises mostly uneducated and, of course, bigoted people.]
