Good golly - I'm 66 and take longer than that to go down a flight of stairs, holding onto the handrail for dear life all the while. I guess I'd look like a raging wino to Waldo Kitty.

(Oh, and for the record, it's because both my knees are basically mush at this point. I don't drink. )

Very measured and methodical about each step. Overly careful about avoiding a 'misstep'? Maybe this is what she has been practicing while away from the public eye. Heavy coat for early fall, no?

I have started to wonder if she is an alcoholic after reviewing articles on her over the past 8 years. I had read that it is becoming more and more common for seniors to be alcoholics and, sadly, it is ignored because people just can't imagine that to be so, maybe just ignore it and blame it on aging. She does show the signs and really seemed to hit bottom in 2008 and now under pressure.........Maybe that would also explain her "meanness" over the years that some have spoke of.
