I think Obama, some Democrats, and the MSM are so out of touch with American voters. I understand that with both parties, there will be extreme on both sides; however, most people fall in the middle. I believe that most people do not appreciate the politically-charged divisiveness, but actually do work in harmony, get along, and want the best for everyone unlike what the detractors would like everyone to believe. Unfortunately, the media doesn't report on that because it does not make ratings gold.

Furthermore, this plea is a desperation call and he calls it a personal "insult" to his legacy if they do not turn out to vote. I think there is more to it. There is so much corruption within the current administration that would tarnish that legacy should they lose control.

It looks like he should feel pretty bad right now. If this is true and continues you can put a stake in Hillary

No skin off my ass... The harder Obama campaigns for Hillary, the further she will drag him down.

Obama insults blacks who have their own mind to vote for whomever. Obama didn't do anything for black people. He is a globalist and thinks globally. He has no intentions of fixing anything here.

Oh, but that must be a lie if it was reported on Fox!

...and the more desperate the media becomes in supporting her (and protecting themselves), the less trustworthy they become (if they ever were in the first place).

(This is written for those who think beyond the media drama and listen to facts and principles)

President Obama said what needed to be said.

The nation can't move forward with the messaging that has been promoted by Trump, Trump himself acknowledge that black American have been left with many challenges, it has never been a current day system of Republican Agenda that has any concern to help minorities, and for that matter, they have no concerns to help poor whites and working poor whites.

I see many dire poor and struggling poor whites, who suffer many of the same economic challenges that plague minorities, and this has always been the 'HISTORY" in America. The sad part if the poor whites, feel for the Jim Crow delusion, which tried to tell them, that even though their economic situations is bad, they can take comfort in their white skin making them better than blacks. The sadder part is many poor whites bought into that, they even supported Union Busting, and Republican Led Aims to cut benefits, when truth and fact is. White people use benefits at a rate of 7:1 more than black and in some areas the ration is likely 12:1 or higher. Go look at the so called Red States, and look at states with the disaster situations such as W. Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and part of Texas, and Louisiana, as well as N. Carolina, then move on up the Eastern Coast to places in the far northeastern sector of the U.S>

It's unfortunate that many poor whites have not moved beyond the delusion that were taught to them during black codes Jim Crow styled indoctrination's. If they did look, they'd see the only thing that is made easy for them is getting benefits and getting in debt with credit. When the manual labor jobs fade, they face and find the same despair that poor whites have always found, and they find when they can't make the payments on their credit; repossessions are swift, and they look back and find out they have no savings.

When President Obama is talking to blacks, the people that truly need to listen and heed his voice are "poor whites, and working poor whites", because the same nature and scope of disenfranchisement impacts their lives as well. Unfortunately, they can't hear him, because they've been trained to think since 1969 that the joining of the converted system of Republican Party Programming is a "white person" organizations, and they think being a member will help them. But truth is, the reality they face is: Their kids can't afford college, if not for Oil Fields, Construction work and being a helper to some vocational service work, they have a up and down cycle of challenges to find work, when they find it, it t often does not provide pension or benefits, and this is a reality that face them on a continual basis.

Go an look around, Truth is its only presentation of reality. Yet, Republicans tell them to fight against Universal Health Care, Fight against Public Service Benefits and Fight against anything and everything, of which they rely upon. As if the Republican System is going to come to their aid.

The only thing Republican system has continually tried and succeeded at selling is the "delusion" of trickle down system programs, of "giving tax breaks to the wealthy", and the wealthy profit and run and hide their money offshores and outsource their production and manufacturing. What does the poor get? A community full of Walmarts, Dollar General Stores and Family Dollar stores. All selling cheap labor made poor quality foreign produced goods. This is suppose to fool people to think they have buying power. When all they do, is result to buy the same product over and over and over as a replacement for the poor quality non durable cheap product they bought at first. Result: They waste their money over and over on the same things.

Look at Obesity among the Poor Whites, it is exactly as High as the Obesity among Poor Blacks, even the Poor Asian are now caught in the Obesity cycle. The well to do whites and the wealthy, they don't have such an Obesity problem, because they can afford to buy "quality food" that still have nutritional value, it cost more but they can afford to buy it.
Poor whites and poor blacks, can't afford it. So, in their communities they get the likes of Country Market, Super One and other such stores.

These stores does not exist in the well to do economically advantaged white communities. They will not allow Walmart in their community and they will not allow Family Dollar or Dollar General in their Communities. You won't find a vast number of Churches Chicken, Popeye's Chicken, or such fast food places in their communities, and if you find one close, it will be very limited in the number of such places.
Poor white community and poor black communities, which change once the well to do moved out to better and newer communities, the "banks" left too.

Industry left, and if it did not go overseas, it went to Mexico or Canada, and some left one state to go to states that have the right to work laws, because they don't want Union shops, that will demand people to be paid a living wage and have humane work rules.

Yes, people, when President Obama spoke to black people, the message should resonate with poor whites as well, but just like MLK tried to speak to the poor whites and awaken them, they ignored him as well.
Black people have always fought for "EQUALITY FOR ALL", nothing was ever just for Black People, The Civil Rights Movement was for ALL people, it just was engaged and promoted by Blacks, but the agenda of it was for ALL people. Some people rejected it, because the bigoted Southern Democrats of that era told white people to oppose it and ignorance it, and now those former Southern Democrats are now Republican Right Wingers, and they still are telling the poor white people, not to listen to the black organizations or leaders and not to join in and support the black organization and black leaders. Because the elites, know that when the black society pushes a movement, it is pushed to benefit ALL AMERICAN PEOPLE OF ALL RACES AND ETHNICITY.

It took the crash of American Jobs for white people to support what black people had been pushing for all along, and that is quality and affordable health care, suddenly when the jobs dried up and the jobs canceled the insurance, only then did the working poor whites support Affordable Health Care. The only people leading the fight against it, are those who are in the higher income jobs where the company STILL provide them with full coverage health care with small co-pays. This is not provided to the low income and labor force workers.

Therefore, it is in the interest of the poor whites and working poor whites, to listen carefully and with an open mind to understand what President Obama is saying based on facts and principles. Then they will know it is in their best interest to listen to him.

And he is 100% correct! Any person of color who votes for a racist and a bigot who will dismantle everything that BO has fought for and called into question his birthplace, and legitimacy to be President, should be ashamed of themselves. This message will resonate BTW.

It's sad ones understanding is of such challenges. Think Deeper

He is by right to stand to protect the work he has done, if one can get past "selective amnesia" and understand where the nation was in freefall and the disasters situation of people loosing homes, the jobless and the many many issues, including banks fraud, bank failures, and all the devastation's left by the previous Republican Administration, then and only when one understand, they can see the value of what is the legacy he is talking about protecting. It's the Legacy of Progress for the American People.
