I never hear much about this from the media or in the TwitterSphere or the ForumSphere, but Trump has a long history of interconnections with the Mafia. The one person that Trump admired the most in the early years was Roy Cohn, the attack dog New York lawyer. Cohn's clients included not only Donald Trump but Mafia figures John Cody, Carmine “Cigar” Galante. Anthony “Fat Tony” Salerno, and "Teflon Don" John Gotti.

Cohn had a reputation for being one of the most evil men on the planet, with absolutely no morals or shred of compassion. When you look at Trump today, it's very clear that Roy Cohn shaped his personality and approach to those that dare oppose him. Cohn taught Trump the two cardinal rules; first, when someone attacks you, whether they are right or they are wrong, the counterattack must be nothing less than a scorched earth response; second, to never apologize under ANY circumstances, and above all never to forgive or forget someone that crossed him or his clients; always exact extreme vengeance.

In 1983, Trump allegedly met with Cohn client Anthony “Fat Tony” Salerno, the boss of the Genovese crime family, in Cohn’s New York apartment. Trump had employed S&A Concrete, owned by Salerno and Paul “Big Paul” Castellano, head of the Gambino crime family, to build Trump Tower. Later, Trump bragged about the Salerno "alleged" meeting in an interview to describe how he would negotiate nuclear policy with the Soviets. Interesting that he HAD to brag about that meeting with Salerno when it was surely meant to remain secret.

I see a lot of people making comparisons between Trump and Hitler, but when you take a deeper look at his behavior and history and influences, he is really more like a wanna-be Mafia Mob boss in the way he deals with his opponents. Not surprising since he's freely admitted that Cohn and Putin are the sort of people he admires.

You can find plenty of material out there about Trump, Cohn and the Mob, here are a few links:

Soon there will be posts about how if you were a property developer in NYC, you had to deal with the mob as they controlled the building trades.

Which still ties Trump in with the mafia so the point would be that he is tied in with the mob,

Oddly enough, Trump once carried on about how Native American casinos were mobbed up.

In addition to clients Tony Salerno, Carmine Galante, and John Gotti, Roy Cohn was the legal hit man for red-baiting Sen. Joe McCarthy "whose reign of televised intimidation in the 1950s has become synonymous with demagoguery, fear-mongering and character assassination.

‘He Brutalized For You’ - POLITICO Magazine

He was a member of the John Birch Society and a principal figure in the Western Goals Foundation, "a private intelligence dissemination network active on the right-wing in the United States. It was wound up in 1986, when the Tower Commission revealed it had been part of Oliver North's Iran–Contra funding network."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Cohn

Cohn represented Trump in legal battles, introduced Trump to New York power brokers, money men and socialites, and taught Trump "how to exploit power and instill fear through a simple formula: attack, counterattack and never apologize."

"Trump has used such tactics more aggressively than any other candidate in recent memory, demeaning opponents, insulting minorities and women, and whipping up anger among his supporters."

Everyone had to deal with the Mob in NYC in those days; I daresay that's the reason why many real estate investors did not want to develop in Manhattan. But most people did not align themselves with freaking Mob lawyer Roy Cohn, who everyone feared as the spawn of Satan; a vile hate filled monster of a man by anyone's assessment.

Take off the tin foil and put on your thinking cap.

"Fat Tony" Salerno, Carmine Galante, and John Gotti are clues.

Bringing this stuff up this is really annoying, isn't it? It would be more convenient to sweep it under the rug I am sure - because this candidate cannot stand the light of day. No matter where you dig, Trump's disgusting character is revealed for the world to see. He made little effort to hide it, because he never dreamed anyone would ever question his integrity. You can spin and dodge and deflect and try to defuse, but it is clear that the voters of this country are starting to wake up to the real Donald Trump. The Roy Cohn connections more than anything else, show the deeply sick nature of this man.
