Heard an interesting segment on NPR today, apropos of this article, by Franklin Foer, about Trump and Russia.
Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are both lying. Only one of them, however, is cunning; the other is gaffing his way toward treason... The cunning liar is exploiting the blundering one.
Just like to point out the pure comedy of some nobody boob from NPR calling the smartest man in the room "blundering."
Trump overcame the machines of the TWO most powerful politcal parties on the planet, the media, academia and Hollywood, and won the presidency spending half as much money as his opponent. He is so much smarter than Hillary Clinton, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Donna Brazil, Bernie Sanders, Barrack Obama, the DNC, The RNC, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnel, Nancy Pelosi, Rachel Maddow, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NPR, and everyone in Califonia and New York put together that would be comical if not so sad.
And this, by the way, is coming from someone who is not a Trump supporter per se. It simply is the truth.
Get over it Dems. You are losers, and your values are about to be tossed in the dustbin of history. Well, you values other than the ones Donald Trump supports.
Guess you think the CIA and many other intelligence agencies are making this up?
IMO Trump should be charged with treason if we learn he was involved in any of this. I said this when Trump praised Putin during his campaign and encouraged Russia to commit cyber warfare. He also said Putin was a better leader than Obama. He should be stopped because he is not a patriot and has openly rebuked the CIA. But who cares, right?

2) the CIA doesn't report to the Washington Post as anonymous leaks, that is not how they operate. They report it to the chain of command and congress and the President to counter response. The FBI also has to be informed because the FBI is handling the investigation of the DNC hacks and as of today the FBI hasn't made any report or conclusion of any findings to the public. The Director of the CIA Brennan hasn't made any report to congress of any kind that the Russia was behind the hacks. You think the Director of the CIA will allow any agent to be talking to the Washington Post as a anonymous source about something this big without informing Congress, FBI and the President???? its against the law for any CIA agent leaking anything to the press, true or false without the approval of the Director.
3) how did Trump encouraged Russia to commit cyber warfare????........I saw the press conference he had in the summer with the media when the DNC emails were published by Wikileaks and the DNC and Hillary to spin the situation of what they did, they blamed Russia and made up lies that Trump was involved with Russia with NO evidence. Trump fired back in a sarcastic way that if Russia had Hillary's 30,000 deleted emails to turn it to the FBI......the Hillary's camp started the FALSE accusations about Russia to spin the DNC emails exposure so the media wouldn't report the Wikileaks emails, it was a spin tactic.
4) Obama and Trump have been trashing each other for years.....don't make Obama like an innocent bystander here.......its call politics......Obama has hurt American a lot worse than anything they have accused Putin of.....is not unpatriotic to say that Obama has been a bad leader....that's opinion.

I'll give you that Trump won but disagree on the reason.
If you really believe he is smarter than all why does anyone doubt that we all were
played by the biggest con man ever born?

from Putin, Steve Bannon , not to forget how Comey sealed the
deal for him at the end. He played the media in his favor , don't mistake that.

Yeah, it is clear that trump is indeed sly, clever, and underhanded. Yay! Not so sure that he's "the smartest man in the room"... unless that room only includes his family members.
And now the fool Obama says there will be retributions against Russia. For what? The worst thing they did, if they even did it, was expose Crooked Hillary for the pond scum she really is. Now, I'm sure none of the libelous and slanderous things they privately said about Bernie, Mexicans, and Catholics were meant to see the light of day, but it proves they are hypocrites and liars. They have no one to blame but themselves for their sloppiness.
But back to the fool Obama. What's he going to do? He's like the yappy little poodle next door that acts like a bigshot but is as worthless as a knife in a gunfight. I'm sure Putin just choked on his borscht when he heard about this one. And why is Obama whining about this now? Before the election he claimed it couldn't happen. Oh yeah, that was before his side lost.
It's both amusing and pathetic seeing all this moral outrage when there is NO PROOF of anything. The longer it goes on, the worse the liberals look. The whole lot of them, Obama included, are an embarrassment to this country.
