Well, now there's been a First Lady crazier than Mary Todd Lincoln.
You've just managed to slander two remarkable women in one sentence.
How much do you know about Mary Todd Lincoln? She was bilingual, highly educated, a great American patriot during the Civil War, endured great personal tragedy, and was much maligned by those of her time who felt threatened by an intelligent and ambitious woman.
Evidently your knowledge of her is about equal to your knowledge of Hillary Clinton.
As is reading comprehensively, which is related to but not identical to reading comprehension.
Sorry what I wrote was too subtle for you. And here I had thought it might be too heavy-handed. Once again, it appears that I was overly optimistic about the reading ability (and maturity) of certain segments of my reading audience.
Suggestion to members of those segments: read up on the use of irony, satire, symbolism, and related literary devices.
Actually, just read. Real books, magazines, newspapers, heck, read more online, not just from forums such as this but actual well-written, accurately spelled and punctuated articles about a wide variety of topics. Read history. Read science. Read poetry. Read philosophy. Read about different forms of government. Read biographies. Read good fiction that's stood the test of time.
Just read. Your lives will be richer for it, and you'll gain in understanding and in your ability to use and comprehend the English language effectively and accurately.
What, you're saying Japanese comic books and cereal boxes don't count?
Tossing in random Latinates (no, that does not refer to illegal Hispanic immigrants) doesn't do much for your argument. Nor does your split infinitive.
No point in further discussion, although no doubt your responses would be similarly convincing. Or not.
Being condescending doesn't do much good either, just saying....

Plus Ms. Lincoln had to live with never knowing how the play ended...
Her staff said she was crying uncontrollably that night. No one said she was violent. You guys sound ridiculous.
Well, I doubt seriously that her loyal staff is going to say anything to put their Queen in a bad light, no matter what she did. That said, we don't know what really went on there since there is no documented evidence, just conflicting reports of behavior from alleged witnesses depending on their general perspective of the woman.
I thought it was in extremely poor taste that they sent Podesta out to address the crowd that night stating something to the effect of "we'll pick up tomorrow" then, seemingly as soon as the crowd was gone she conceded. Most of these people have been standing around for 12+ hours and volunteered their time and effort for months leading up to this day and she couldn't come out in person and give a quick address? Even if she didn't state her plan to concede she could have thanked them for their efforts and asked them to head home herself.
Either she was throwing a tantrum as the press is stating or, you are correct no concession speech had been prepared.
Haven't you idiots moved on yet? Didn't anyone get the memo? She lost!!!!!! Get over it. You've got Trump's horsebarn to shovel now. You don't need to shoot arrows at clinton any more. she's not there! She's just an illusion in your mind!!!
Get over it!
