Oh please, just stop. You had absolutely no problem with your party engaging in white hate, hatred of police, military, hatred of those who did not share your views regarding abortion, hatred of those who voiced concern for their young daughters sharing bathrooms with men who were not transgenders but just decided they felt feminine for the day--for 8 long years.

Nobody is celebrating Democrats' disappointment. They put their hopes and dreams into Clinton and were naturally upset. Clinton was not worthy of them or their efforts. What people are celebrating is that Clinton lost and that hope had finally come to the one-half of America you yourself have been villainizing in message after message after message after message after message here on this forum. And now you hypocritically talk about your half of the country?

In that case, where are your messages of support for rural Americans who suffered greatly under Obama and had no voice? I can tell you because I remember your messages. You mocked them, parroted what MSNBC said, you said their vote was a threat to our democracy and people who lived in larger metropolitan areas should really be the ones to have their votes counted. You supported Clinton's message to Trump voters whom she called "deplorables." You actually celebrated that message.

You did show concern for people in coal country whom Democrats believe have been duped by Trump. I was encouraged for a minute.

Where was your message for the millions of Americans who lost their health insurance due to the ACA? You were happy about it. Where was your message for the people whose hours were cut by their employers due to the ACA? You were happy about it, said that the full time jobs are gone. It didn't affect you, you said.

Where was your message for the tech people at Disney, et al. laid off and replaced by H1-B visa workers? There was none except to applaud the unfettered open borders and flooding in of people from other countries because your party was trying to replace voters with people from foreign countries who could care less about our US Constitution.

I could go on and on and on about your lack of messages of support or messages of great lack of any concern whatsoever at the distress of half the country when Obama was President.

And you wonder why someone like Trump became President. Look in the mirror.

No matter what happens to Trump, your bitter mocking of people and promise of even "greater hostility," as set forth below, to the half of America who don't share your views would be nothing new.

Trump supporters should remember all of this for when it comes back at them. Trump won by 70,000 votes in three states combined and lost the popular vote by 3 million. Remember all this when we're laughing back with equal or greater hostility.

It's always about policy. You'll never learn will you?

Funny that's kind of like the reaction I had when his predecessor was elected twice.

Yes we do enjoy the distress of the arrogant elite liberals, led by the media, who thought it was a shoo-in for Hillary. Well, the elites got a smackdown that night, political correctness was stopped dead in its tracks, and we finally put an independent outsider in control.

It remains to be seen how things work out with Trump, but for once, instead of complaining about the system, the voters finally did something about it.

What the hell are you talking about?!? You always say this with NOTHING to follow it with!

I do disagree with The Cheeto on many policy positions if you want to go there. Basically any policy he supports is a bad idea, but also want gay marriage and abortion rights protected, want marijuana taken off of DEA Schedule I, and Single Payer Healthcare. He doesn't want any of these things!

Well first of all, because no politician on either side is worth getting all worked up about.
Live your life, no matter who is running the show. The system is corrupt & broken.

This is just laughable. "Happy days" were not the eight years of Obama. They were dismal, depressing days, as we saw our country being dismantled by "progressivism," which Barack Hussein Obama, the Kenyan would-be-dictator, promised to do: "We are just five days away from the fundamental transformation of the United States of America." And all of his followers cheered.

Then came the "apology tour." Obama traveled around the world publicly humiliating America and making himself out to be some kind of savior of the world who would right America's wrongs. He lied about most everything he criticized America for.

The "happy days are hear again" was election night 2016, when a real American was elected President (Obama spent most of his formative years in Indonesia ...he did not grow up knowing what it was to be an American), and "progressivism" (Marxist-socialism) was rejected.

I doubt "over half the country" is in such distress. Many Democrats are benefiting from the booming economy, with the Markets hitting new records monthly. There investments are paying off big. (Yes, Democrats invest too ...they are capitalists in secret, while openly hostile to capitalism). Are they crying on their way to the bank?

Under Obama's Presidency, home ownership fell to post WWII levels. Household incomes plummeted. Unemployment skyrocketed, and with it, the number of people receiving government assistance. Health insurance became unaffordable to many as they saw premiums double and triple and deductibles skyrocket ...insurance became a bigger part of the family budget than a mortgage payment. Meanwhile, Obama would go on TV and tell us how great his "accomplishments" were and lie about the state of the economy.

The popular vote is irrelevant, because we are not a democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic, comprising 50 sovereign states, each voting independently to choose the President, who is a Representative not of the people, but of the States, in foreign affairs. He is also the chief executive officer and Commander-in-Chief. The only thing that counts is which candidate won the most States, and that candidate was Donald Trump, and he won by a huge margin. It was a "landslide."

If you want a president elected by popular vote, then move to a socialist country. See how you like real socialism. I hear Venezuela is nice. Socialism seems to be working very well there. It is a perfect example of socialism.

Socialism is working great in Costa Rica too. It`s the only country in Central America that people are trying to get into, not out of. Universal healthcare since 1961.

Great. Why don't you move there?
