Also, don't forget that his lead and the majority of his wins come from caucuses. Too bad for him -- it's a general ELECTION, not a general caucus.

There have been repearted statements about 'what if that was said about a black person?" Well, if you have a black grandmother you can describe her habits as just like a black person if you wanna!

Obama has:

1. Won every election with a diverse group of supporters. His state senate district was about 35% white. IL for sure is not majority black and he won the state handily.

2. Won in Iowa, Vermont and Wyoming, showing he can reach out to folks who don't necessarily look like him.

3. Has never run a sixties-style, 'throw the white folks out' campaign. His young supporters are a remarkably inclusive group.

4. Has not appealed to partisanship or to limited groups, such as pandering to evangelical groups or gun owners.

Basically, the statement that Obama is divisive is pure garbage. Next time add some verification for a limited opinion.
Well Said!

Do us a favor -- count the number of anti-Hillary threads here begun by your minions and then tell us with a straight face that we have started more than our share of threads. Certain trolls, ahem, posters churn them out three or four at a time. You'll recognize the names.

As for our "points being moot," has this suddenly turned into the "Praise My Soul, the King Obama" board? Gee, they must have forgotten to change the name.

He has made this campaign about race -- and that's divisive. I don't believe we have a race problem in this country. I believe we have a problem with people like Wright and Obama who seem to think all white people can be stereotyped. I have a problem with the Obama campaign playing the race card in this campaign since the very beginning and only now feeling "the chickens coming home to roost."

Obama is not a uniter. He's divisive. Look how divided the Democratic party is now.

Well, that's interesting... So if all of the Hillary supporters don't vote for Obama, how in the heck do you think he'll win? Don't forget, Hillary has a lot of female voters and we ARE regular voters who always show up to vote. If we don't vote for Obama, can you say "President McCain"?

Really? Well, let's see. He's lost in the delegate-rich states, won the caucuses which have much lower turnout than elections (some of which are Republican hotbeds anyway), and now he's insulted white people which won't go over well for the white vote except among the young and self-haters/white guilters.

The Democratic Party is beside itself with fear because the demographics are showing this thing dividing down racial lines. And, of course, they think the solution is to get Hillary to drop out. They can't seem to get through their heads that it's Obama who is dividing people and that will remain even if Hillary drops out.

Maybe he should have run with Bush as his VP? Could you imagine? Two Uniters (Undividers) on the same ticket?
