The Clinton's always had a lot of blacks on their staffs.

It's a shame the black community chose to knife them in the back when they had the chance to. I wonder if that will serve as a lesson for anyone else who thinks they might help the black community? It kind of reminds me of black rioters burning their own stores down.

They hardly "knifed them in the back"

Geeze!

Black voters voted for the person they think will best represent them (just like everybody else does). They don't "owe" the Clintons anything.

Sounds like you think that votes should be bought and paid for.

Well, that's not what happened. Your race baiting is silly and ignores history.

How old are you folks? Does no one remember 1988? Jesse Jackson was far behind in delegates and could not win in the convention. All of the other people running against Dukakis gave it up. Everyone was yelling for Jesse to get out. However, he stuck in. Then he won the Michigan primary. It turned out that he would finish a distant second to Dukakis, but he was second. That made for a rousing speech by him at the convention.

The convention's delegates was on the edge of their chairs waiting for Jesse's oration. Even the Secret Service (who had nicknamed the good reverend "Thunder") were anticipating Jesse's stemwinder. And he gave a good speech.

So, Jesse was urged by everyone to give it a rest and to stop making a symbolic run. White and black, all sorts of people told him to sit down and quit fooling around on a lost cause. Now, folks shouldn't say that to Hillary?
