They would not put themselves through all the trouble if they did not have a passion for serving humanity. They have proved themselves already and have used alot of their money for the welfare of others. I don't think Obama donated very much except to Rev Wright.
And I do. People with money cannot relate to common, everyday, working people.

Some common, everyday, working class people end up millionaires... do their values change, some wealthy people have rejected a privileges lifestyle and devoted their life to serving others... can't lump all the rich and famous in the same category. I think Bill and Hillary are down to Earth and relate well to the common man.

Hillary is going to be loyal to those who made her so incredibly wealthy. Obviously that wasn't the common person. The Clintons money certainly did not come from hard work they did, it's important to see where they are getting all that money.

Much of it seems to be foreign bribe money, and when a politician is getting millions of dollars handed to him/her, it's important for us to consider what is being given in exchange.

Without reading another post in this thread, I will respond by saying this:

As opposed to the poor Obama's who don't have a big bank account at all and have fought to get to where they are b/c they are so poor? Keep trying....all politicians have money or they wouldn't be where they are.

Neither couple are from rich entitled families. What they have in common is that both couples have stellar educational backgrounds. The Obama's are cut from the same elite academic cloth that the Clintons are. Hillary went to Wellesley College and has a Yale law degree. Bill went to Georgetown U and was a Rhodes Scholar. Obama has a Harvard law degree. His wife went to Yale.

Both couples make a lot more money than the average Joe's $50K a year. The Obama's are not poor by any means.

Im not a Hillary supporter, but I dont think we should villify anyone for being successful. Bill Clinton came up from nothing and became the President of the United States for heavenssake.

Dont hate, congratulate.

I don't care for Hillary all that much either (or any of the candidates for that matter) but to suggest her being wealthy as a reason for her not to care about us little people...

If this actually mattered, then every American should be voting for Ron Paul.

People seem to admire the struggle to obtain wealth, yet they often despise a person once they obtain it. This just baffles me.

As the average American Family Income is only about 55K annually, how much do you really believe Hilary cares about our average Guys & Gals?

You can ask the same question about Sen. and Mrs. McCain. The latter is worth perhaps $100 million from being the heiress to a Budweiser dealership business for Phoenix. I guess she wants to be First Lady as well as rich. See the recent Associated Press news story about Mrs. McCain's background and the source of her wealth.
