At the time of the 2016 election, 39% of registered voters did not have a political affiliation. Not to be confused with who actually voted. Let that sink in. 39% of all registered voters refused to be aligned with dems, repubs, etc. That's a lot of us voters out there who are not being wooed.

You wanna win an election? Quit patting each other on the back for how smart and liberally evolved you think you are - you are democrats... you're a sure thing; you already know how all of you will vote. Instead, figure out how to reach those of us who are disgusted with politics, double standards, lying politicians and party gurus from BOTH sides.

Until you do that, the unaffiliated will continue to stay home or vote the lesser of two evils. Since I refuse to stay home, I accept the sad reality that come 2020, I will once again be voting the lesser of two evils. Right now there is no one from the left that is the lesser evil. Trump will get my vote.

39%. Even if that number is different by now, plus or minus a few...it's still a huge chunk, and y'all just keep turning up your noses at us.

I rather not Hillary like many say will happen (I do doubt she'd run again) but I would likely vote Dem except if she won. I'd vote green party since Arizona isn't purple enough to have my vote matter.

I'll support any Democratic candidate who is running against Trump. Yep, it's that bad.

I'm not a Democrat, but I'll vote for whoever is running against Trump.

You said it way better than I could. Dems, get your head in the game, or we will lose!
If you nominate someone like the last candidate, you deserve to lose. Your party needs to stop dissing half the country and start acting like all Americans count, not just the college educated ivy league ones. Even those that are homeless or Native American have rights too. Havent heard much out of the dems about the other half of the country. Keep it up and you will lose again.
Not to mention that the dems better be courting the independent vote if they want to win. Havent seen any of that yet.

Same. The pup would be more articulate, I’m sure.

Yes they will. If watching the fat-cat, power brokers of the Democratic party screw Bernie Sanders out of the nomination in 2016, didn't dissuade them from supporting the corporate/war/corruption candidate in Hillary Clinton, what could possibly turn them off from whoever they run in 2020? The D's would vote for Hitler if he ran against Trump.
