Totally agree. Most twitter users responded right away (as seems to be required by twitter) and assumed he was telling the truth. I doubt that too many candidates were following the Smollet story with bated breath. Bigger fish to fry.

But you can tell by the number of RWNJ's that have pounced on this - that they are terrified of Harris beating Trump.

Sure, sure. She should just say something like "I'm sure there were very fine people on both sides".

Harris is married to a rich white man so it's ironic that her narrative is to hate them.
Was there a reason to believe he was lying from the beginning other than you being a conservative and not wanting to believe your side was capable of doing it ?

Im honestly not sure why you think your argument makes sense.

Also, arguing that rich people should pay more in taxes has nothing to do with hating them.

Yes, it's called waiting for the facts to come out. Trump supporters don't watch Empire and Chicago isn't "MAGA country."

She's married to the very same rich white man who she persecutes on behalf of people on color, if you can't see they hypocrisy in that then I can't help you.

She's also a prosecutor who put countless of people of color behind bars. This woman doesn't have a chance.

Agreed, she can't even come clean about supporting Jussie. Imagine what other issues she refuses to come clean about.

Empire was the most watched TV show in the nation for about 3 months in the key Demographics getting about 24 million viewers when including first and second run.

Saying that no trump supporters were watching it is disingenuous at best. Or you are admitting there is no cross culture in this nation at all, which would kill the "I understand black people" arguments from the right.

I have no idea what metaphor you are trying to argue or why you believe a prosecutor shouldnt prosecute criminals, but that argument isnt going to work on anyone with an IQ above 70

Are you kidding? Nearly everyone thought his story was a crock. The reasons?

1) Chicago isn't "MAGA country".
2) Even if it were, no one goes around shouting "This is MAGA country".
3) Getting Subway at 2am.
4) Getting Subway at 2am in sub-zero temperatures.
5) Attackers lurking around at 2am in sub-zero temperatures with bleach and a clothesline, waiting for someone to possibly make an appearance.
6) Attackers hating him enough to put a "noose" around his neck, but only leaving him with a scratch.
7) Leaving the "noose" around his neck for nearly an hour 'as evidence', even though he didn't immediately call the police when he got home.
8) Not washing a potential hazardous substance off himself when he got home, even though he didn't immediately call the police when he got home.

I'm sure there are a few more.

I mean, honestly, I don't think that many people were paying that close attention early on. I never would have known about it if it weren't for this thread.

I think TMZ did a huge focus on it - but who watches TMZ? Now that there might be a fraud - it's gotten a little more interesting and even MSNBC has reported on that.

It's not about hate. It's about POWER. Every one who is running in the Democrat party is so far to the left, they have to figure out a way to stand out. This was what she tried. But after seeing what she tried in the Kavanaugh hearings, I am not at all surprised by this orchestrated hoax.
