So true! And I think this is the "good" that will come from the Obama/Trump years. We will get rid of the wingnuts on both sides of the aisle and people will pay closer attention to the issues and not party/race. At least that is my hope.

America will have no problem electing a woman when the right woman runs. Hillary actually got more popular votes in 2016 which disproves the notion that a woman is not electable. The problem was she didn't have them distributed more strategically.
I was never crazy about Harris but in a couple of her recent interviews she has come of fairly knowledgeable. Her biggest problem will be that some primary voters see her as too conservative and some general election voters are not agreeable to someone from CA. But if she puts in AZ in play and draws big numbers in Detroit, Philly, Milwaukee and metro Atlanta she would really create a lot of problems for Trump. From Reagan forward only Bush has had more than 4 years on the national stage before winning the Presidency. So as much as people harp about experience it is rarely reflected when it comes time to vote.

Wow, people are questioning integrity when they elected a man that is the biggest con in presidential history! The hypocrisy is applied differently but it is always present among a select few here.
Black folks and other minorities vote majority Democrat. Most black candidates are Democrats. When candidates (Clinton, Biden, Sanders, O Rourke) are not black, black Democrats still vote Democrat. When candidates such as Carson are black and Republican, the majority of black folks still vote Democrat. It's not rocket science. Try again. The radical right is trying to dimish black and minority women candidates. It didn't for the midterms where a record number of minority women won an election and it won't work now. The radical right is trying to divide the DEMOCRATIC party because it feels threatened. It's not working. Look at AOC. She has the radical right screaming from the mountain top with outrage. It's funny and entertaining. We are more united than ever. Try disengaging the white supremacy that surrounds the radical right.
