McCain may go with Liberman- who cares. Good riddance and it will open up a Senate seat we can capture.

I disagree, I think that the Obama team needs to remain above all of the mud-slinging and negativity. Now if they try to swift boat him, then yes, he needs to respond quickly, but if the campaign and his supporters attempt to go after McCain or his wife in a negative way without any provacation, I think it will alienate many voters who may be on the fence, especially those who are really looking for a different type of politics than we have seen in recent elections.

Voted NO on expanding hate crimes to include sexual orientation

Voted NO on repealing tax subsidy for companies which move US jobs offshore.

Voted for the bankruptcy bill

Voted YES on allowing lobbyist gifts to Congress.

Voted YES on require photo ID (not just a signature) for voter registration

Voted NO on funding for National Endowment for the Arts

Voted YES on prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers

Voted NO on adding 2 to 4 million children to SCHIP eligibility

Voted YES on limiting medical liability lawsuits to $250,000

Voted YES on removing need for FISA warrant for wiretapping

Voted NO on implementing the 9/11 Commission report
He is an anti war person, and Obama has that sewn up.]

The Obama team does but we don't. The sooner we get negative ads on TV againt McCain, the better. We cannot sit around like John Kerry did waiting for the Republican sleaze machine to start their smear campaign. We need to start ours first!

After the convention, if Obama does not go on the attack, then I am going to donate my money to other organizations such as Move On that are not afraid to attack the McCains (yes Cindy too) and other Republicans rather than to donate it to Obama's campaign as I have until now.
We need to realize we are in a dirty war with very evil people and we need to run the show accordingly.
Wow.

It is a wonder so many write you post off.

I trust David Axelrod, he's done a brilliant job so far and I think he will make the right calls when it comes to just how tough the Obama campaign needs to get. I do cringe with the possiblities of what kind of nastiness could come out of the Republicans, but I think the Dems have learned some valuable lessons over the past 2 Presidential campagins (and over this primary season)

He did start first. He started by asserting that Republicans will bring in race to scare people when there is no basis for it.
