instead of rolling your eyes, then tell why you think jesse made that comment in private?
He made the comment in private because he knew that a public expression of this sentiment would result in the uproar that it has.
Jesse Jackson perhaps felt like he was being talked down to because he fathered an illegitimate child while married. It must be uncomfortable to be a righteous reverend being told by a young upstart to do better and be better.
I get the feeling Jesse doesn't really like Obama for whatever reason. But JJ is such a non-issue, who cares. But wow for someone old like him to get caught out there like that. It looked so bad. What the heck was he thinking? I still don't really get what he was trying to say about Obama talking down to Black people, what was he referring to?
I guess he is having a mid-life crisis. Jesse that is!! Sincerely disappointed with him right now, well it is not the first time.
In my area the local news wanted people to call in asking if they thought what Jackson said would help or hurt Obama. Most said it woulf Hurt him. I don't agree I think it hurts Jackson and makes him look ignorant. I thought he was a Rev. Time to get out of the lime light and back to church as what he said if he did say it was really impressive for a Rev.
