A recent poll from England found 70% of Italians, 67% of Germans, 65% of the French and 49% of Britons would vote for Obama. Compare that to Republican John McCain, who gets support from 15% of Italians, 6% of Germans, 8% of the French and 14% in Britain.

Read and discuss if interested. Does Europe matter to us? Should we care?
Do they have a clue? Will we need to invade them eventually so who should care? Have they become nations so overun with socialism and immigrants that they no longer should matter?
Simple answer! Europe is only broadcasting Obama and they don't know much about McCain. CNN Europe is only what most Europeans can receive and they are more liberal than CN over here. Unfair and unbalanced so the Europeans don't know what he is really like.
Has been with Bush the same, the only boradcast the negative and enjoy to do as many reruns as the can on that subject.

Aren't they advanced societies with their own radio and tv outlets? Don't they have internet access over there?

Have you ever been to Europe?

They get a hell of a lot more than CNN... (even Foxnews)

Europeans have supported Democrats for a long time... consistently. They like their social programs. Europe doesn't necessarily cave with all the high taxes and social programs but they are paying for it in terms of productivity (they think we're crazy having 40 hr work weeks... maybe they're right), really high unemployment rates (Germany, the land of Heidelberg and BMW has around a 15% unemployment rate along with 30 some days of national holidays for those who have a job), disruptions from strikes (French anyone?)... Europeans are like Democrats on steroids - so it doesn't surprise me nor move me that they support Obama because of his parties socialism tendencies.

Wow here many nations are left on the planet that are like the good old American way? Can someone please list them so we know who to go to the playground with in the future?

occasionally it would be comforting for us to be somewhat in step with the world community. there is a chance obama will do that, a chance.
