By picking Sarah Palin as VP, McCain may have lessened the GOP's ability to attack Obama's lack of experience but, as a better offset, McCain has more than matched Obama's claim that he is the candidate for change. Obama's pick of white-haired Biden as VP is certainly not indicative of any change that I've seen in American politics in forty years. Claiming change while picking an aging Washington insider is simply shoveling pasture pies with a different shovel.

As I see it, McCain is "walking the walk" while Obama is "talking the talk." My family and I will support McCain/Palin in November.

This change that's being talked about has been lessened to what the VP looks like.

That there has been a significant amount of minimization of Palin's experience by those without character, it follows that her fair looks will become a target of those who lack character and looks.

By talent, I don't mean singing or dancing, but leadership, economic smarts, foreign policy expertise. In a country like America, how in the devil is this what we have to pick from?

The reality is that Obama was seen as the younger, more hip candidate for change and McCain had to take action.

His choice of Palin became that action, for better or for worse.

only time will tell.
