I know your confused, no one said Bush wasnt the president, but he does not speak for ALL Republicans.

The thread says "Why do the Republicans" It does not say "Why does the President", meaning that to use something the President says, and blanket ALL Republicans as saying/feeling/meaning is just as stupid as if someone saying Democrats support racism, because Byrd was a member of the KKK.

He doesn't show and he's "afraid". If he had shown, I have no doubt that you'd be saying that he was "ignoring" New Orleans/Gustav.
