I've never seen a Vice Presidential candidate avoid or refuse to talk to the Press. If you have evidence otherwise please present it, I'm certain we'd love to discuss this.

Mr. Paine & Mr. Franklin would be appalled.

She doesn't want to be exposed for the fake that she is.

Yes, and probably also her total lack of preparedness.

Default Did McCain put "COUNTRY FIRST" with Palin pick?

From the man who would rather lose an election than lose a War, I think this question deserves an honest answer.

SHe can't hide for long.

I must have missed the story about her being afraid of the press. It probably just got buried behind the story of her getting low TV ratings for her speech and that she read it all from the teleprompter or that McCain was going to replace her.

Keep em coming boys, it’s entertaining.

I just started a thread and link from the Anchorage paper about her college pursuit. She might not want to answer what she was doing that caused her to take 6 years and attend five colleges to her her undergrad degree. Maybe some very good reasons but you would have thought that as a result of vetting they would already have that out there

It is really pathetic. She is having to be "schooled" I guess. For many elections, it has been almost a tradition for the VP nominee to do the Sunday morning TV news shows the Sunday after the selection is made. She obviously made the choice to hide.

It's scary. We have about 60 days to get to know her and she is ducking and running. Better to answer the tough questions now than election week.

She should be on one of the Sunday morning news programs, but she isn't. My guess is her first interviews will be on Fox in controlled environments. Very strange she hasn't had a single interview since she was selected. weird.

You really think that a candidate that has not made a non scripted tv appearance is something to brush off? Honestly?
