McCain's Speech (Iran, Democrats, wisdom, George Bush)

Sometimes I catch myself feeling a little sorry for McCain.

Here's a guy who was an Alpha male in his day with too much testosterone and ego to be sure, but he was a force to be reckoned with anyway.

Now, he's old and obviously diminished. The only times he seems to connect with his own words is when he is talking about the past.

He was painful to watch tonight.

Obama's speech last Thursday made me cry. I was expecting at least a little emotion from the Republicans. Where are their hearts?

I saw a tear (of joy) from a lady when one of the many protesters was bludgeoned with a baton.. And she didn't miss a beat.... USA-USA-USA... I think she had a funny cartoonish animal hat on.

I realize threads are going to stray from topic, its just going to happen as conversation often leads to places other than where we planned. I don't mind giving folks some wiggle room as long as it doesn't regress into a playground showdown between members screaming, neener neener.
