It's scary that there are people in this country and on this board who want "more of the same". They just don't get it. It's as if they're living on some other planet.

I ask this....

What has happened over the past 8 years in government to the size of it and as a matter of fact for a very long time how has the government grown?

What does Obama wish to do?

What does McCain wish to do?

Which one is the real change?

Can McCain succeed in making the government smaller is yet to be seen.

Just remember change has been used in every election I have seen by any party that isn't in office....so what really is change besides a key word to trigger thinking of all the negative things in your life.

We're gonna have four more years of the same whether McCain or Obama wins.

Unchecked illegal immigration
Budget crisis
Lack of border security
Veterans getting screwed

No "change" will happen when Obama or McCain wins.

I understand how easy it is to feel cynical with the current state of affairs...but one candidate offers hope of change...the other offers no such hope. I'm going with the guy who actually has a plan for change!

I am significantly better off today than I was 8 years ago, so yeah, I'll take another 8 just like it. However, Bush, Congress, and the Senate had nothing to do with my success because I choose to take care of myself.

Four more years of the neocons manipulating foreign policy.
Four more years of the cronies stealing tax payer's money.
Four more years of the Constitution being torn apart piece by piece.
Four more years of our rights going down the drain.
Four more years of representation only for the rich.
Four more years of government incompetence.
Four more years of a bad economy.
Four more years on nothing getting done.

I understand your point, but everyone is not as fortunate as you. I have relatives who are worse off and I feel for them and yes it's due to Bush/Cheney's policies.

Interesting. Please explain how Bush/Cheney's policies have affected your relatives. I am truly interested in learning of their experiences.
