Democrats (and the lefter than Democrat Obama supporters) are falling into the pathetically obvious trap that Karl Rove has set for us yet again: focusing our energy on Sarah Palin, and panicking. Please, people, remind everybody you know that Obama is running against John McCain, not Palin! I understand why we are all upset at the farce that is this ticket but don't you see, that is what they want us to be doing? Even Karl Rove wrote an op ed in the Wall Street Journal today about this, Obama Can't Win Against Palin - WSJ.com

Enough is enough. Everbody from Gloria Steinem to Barack himself is falling into this trap. Obama can win against McCain, whom he is running against. It looks ridiculous to make all of these arguments against Palin, don't you see?

Come on, Obama supporters: stay on message!
Tell all your friends. This is too important for this idiocy.

Staying on message? That's very republican of you. Obama IS running against Sarah Palin because SHE is the one the GOP stands behind 100%. SHe is the one who is going to be the POTUS because McCain is going to croak in office.

But after reading the interview with Charlie that's linked over at Drudge, I'm going to sit back a little bit and rest easier. Her full on wacky extremism came out today and while her so called "base" is going to continue to go ga-ga and keep having to empty their drool cups, the thinking people of America will come back around.

McPalin ... not quite ready for the fork, but getting there.

We have to be prepared for just Palin, because if there is any way the right can get McCain off the ticket they will. They want Palin so bad their 'drool cups' are overflowing (that was a good one).

We had to put someone up there a little closer to Obama's experience level. It would not be fair to pit him against McCain lol.

Americans vote for PRESIDENT, not V.P., in this instance you have the OLDEST candidate to ever run for President (older than Reagan was in 1980) being backed b y the nice, young and pretty beauty queen who COULD be a heartbeat away from the Presidency.

That has put alot of focus on her. And no, I've not once panicked, I'm certain a majority of Americans are not stupid enough to vote McSame/Palin

All hands on deck, its going to take a team effort to beat the two front runners.

We need to stop being so jealous of a powerful 5' lady and go after that John McCain guy.

All the attacks and lies didn't work on Sarah so lets go get McCain.
