I have a whole packet of "Veterans for Obama" stickers, however, my wife doesn't want to put them on the car here in OC, CA...because it will most likely get vandalized by good value, god fearing, republicans.

Pretty foolish buying a "whole packet" of bumper stickers if it's such a problem, huh? Guess you didn't consider it a risk at the time, or you don't consult your wife much.

Liberals are loud rude "in your face" people, that's why they are the largest group of protestors. Conservatives usually keep their thoughts to themselves and stay quiet, until election day.

I live in affluent Orange County, CA and the only signs I see are for McCain and it is all for personal wealth gain, very rarely are there principles involved.
There are other areas in southern California that are insanely rich, yet are staunchly supporting Barack Obama. The westside of LA is one. Santa Barbara is another:

Orange County has always been a Republican stronghold. I have read articles that say that Orange county isn't really as rich as people there like others to believe. Unlike places like tech heavy Silicon Valley, the north shore suburbs of Chicago (home to Chicago's old rich industrial titans), and the hedge-fund abodes of Greenwich CT....the source of wealth of people in Orange county is not very clear. Perhaps you can enlighten us on this.

I also work in the Aerospace Sector, people just assume everyone is voting for McCain because he will keep the military pumping money into our company. I could ask a person: "are there any issues you agree with, or are you just voting McCain so you can keep money rolling in?" however, I know the answer.

So really for me voting for Obama, I am making my own job obsolete, in their eyes. Which may or may not be true, but principles > personal gain for me.

But again, "conservative" people here in Orange County are against illegal immigration, yet turn around and hire illegals for everything.
OC is a place with very hypocritical "conservatives".
I respect anyone who puts what he/she truly considers to be best for the country in front of their self-interest. Think about it; if everybody did that, politicians included, it wouldn't be long before our problems solved themselves.

I bought them to support my candidate, whether I display them on my vehicle is a personal choice.

100% agree, wealth, old money, etc is not what OC is about, OC is about new money, real-estate, LA converts, but mainly new real-estate wealth, the kind of folks that that made a few million off handing out Sub-Prime loans.

Real wealth in my opinion is mostly found from D.C. to Boston in America, that's old money, that is not the kind of wealth that is here in OC.

Indeed, so don't cry about your fears of "Republicans Gone Wild." Obviously, it's not a concern or you wouldn't have bought a bunch of bumper stickers. You can support your candidate by buying a button, T-shirt or cap -- you didn't have to buy bumper stickers.
