This sounds like Obama leading the charge for a second round of "stimulus" checks. Tax is collected from taxpayers, then the government writes out a $600 check to every person who filed a return, regardless of if they even payed $600 of taxes to the government. Many paid $0 in taxes and got a $600 check. How's that for BUYING votes?
I hated the idea of Bush dishing out the first round of income redistribution, and Democrats did too because they didn't want him to be seen favorably for giving away free money. I hate it even more that Obama, who preaches fairness and change, called for a 2nd round of this socialist concept.

The difference between Palin and Obama though - the oil taken is an Alaskan resource, which Palin thought deserved to go back into the hands of Alaskans in the form of monetary exchange. Obama decides that we're going to take the resources of taxpayers, and give them back to everyone who filed a return, even if they didn't pay taxes! It was wrong when Bush did it, and it's even more wrong for Obama to call for it during an election!

Show me a SINGLE source that says Obama lied. I haven't seen one.

If you think Obama is unqualified, tell me what they are doing with Pain? They could have continued that attack legitimately, but now they put Palin out there, and everyone knows what she is. She's not the best option, but she's a woman, and so there in lies the reasoning. If you think she was the best choice, tell me what she has over other governours?
A source Obama lied. Rev. Wright spews hatred all the time in that church. Obama spent 20+ years in that church. They pass out hate filled fliers in the foyer of that church. And Obama said he never heard any of those hateful things said. That my friend, is a LIE.

The amount of sudden slander and hate from the left is sometimes overwhelming and the more they slander the more I think they lose it. It reminds me of the following line in Return of the Jedi:

Quote:
EMPEROR

You want this, don't you? The hate is
swelling in you now. Take your Jedi weapon.
Use it. I am unarmed. Strike me down with it.
Give in to your anger. With each passing
moment, you make yourself more my servant.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself but in all the elections I have seen, this one by far is going way out there in a galaxy far far away. *chuckle*

been at my church my whole life. I don't read the church bulletin. I could ask a question of my pastor and would recieve an accurate no nonsense response. But I don't know what he's like on his deepest level. If he's a racist, I'd have no idea. If Obama knew he was a racist, why wouldn't he have pushed Rev. Wright away immediately? That would be the political thing to do, but he assumed it was a rare lapse in judgement and was proved incorrect at which time he did push away. Fully understandable. Also, completely unrelated to the issues at hand.

Use the search function? LOL C'mon don't you know your own candidate?

I used google, city-date, devout democrats, etc

NOT ONE SOURCE COULD NAME ONE.

THE ANSWER IS ZERO EXPERIENCE.

Palin maybe a Christian, maybe a woman, maybe a hockey mom,

BUT

SHE HAS EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE.

By choosing someone just to reign in the religious right is a fine tactic if you want to win, but not a great tactic if you really care about our country. Plain and simple. He wants to change Washington all of a sudden. Ok, so he's running against himself and Bush, remember him? The president with whom he voted 95% of the time. He's so disingenuous it makes me ill listening to him.

So does the mayor of Omaha, a city with a metro pop. of more than the entire state of Alaska. But he's not running. That would be foolish. Somehow Palin is MORE qualified than ANY other governor?

He didn't push him away because Obama is playing a balancing act. Many people in this country, including Obama imo, believe white people created AIDS and believe America is evil. Obama can't lose these votes. The codepinks and the left wing loons and the black liberation people truly believe these things. So Obama can't offend them by turning away from Wright. He also has to get the level headed middle American independants who think Wright is a loon. That is why he waited.

Come on.. he knew what Wright though. Wright preached it. He didn't think it silently. That church is founded on the idea of liberation. That whites hold blacks down and that America is evil. It's on fliers.. it's in sermons. If he truly didn't realize that after 20 years, then we need to take a hard look at his Harvard grades.. perhaps there was some cheating going on. Every black man and women in that black liberation ideology church knows exactly what the church believes.

wow, now the conspiracy theories that Obama was supporting blacks that think whites invented AIDS? this is getting ridiculous, and yet again. This has NOTHING to do with the issues.
