Old adage: "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen."

New adage: "The heat must be turned down in order to keep the rookie chef from sweating."

What a pathetic travesty this election has become.

From the OP's source:

Quote:
Indeed, both the McCain and Obama campaigns have similar concerns about the vice-presidential matchup in St. Louis: that Ms. Palin, of Alaska, as a new player in national politics, or Mr. Biden, of Delaware, as a loquacious and gaffe-prone speaker, could commit a momentum-changing misstep in their debate.

Sure has. Hope a majority of voters are smart enough to see it by now.

I believe they will be after the debates. I know the Veep debate is going to be a complete farce, the questions will be so dumbed down that the winner is Palin regardless, and the loser will be the American people, again.

They have to vote accordingly in response

Sorry to say you're probably right...our loss.

As to the Biden detractors...yes, he does put his foot in it but it isn't Joe who's asking for leniency.

Unfortunately, I would have to agree w/ you as well....it really is quite sad. Especially with the state of the country right now, what is going to happen if they are elected and have to deal with issues that won't be something that can be "dumbed down".

Yes....but the Obama campaign didn't push to have the format changed. That was Mccain's camp. Being the beneficiary is not the same as being the "squeaky wheel".

Well, that stinks. They're forgetting that the longer Biden talks, the more he says stupid things.
