If you watched this on CNN and watched the scoring at the bottom you learned a few things...
1, Republican supporters liked McCain
2, Democrat supporters liked Obama
3, INDEPENDENTS like Obama

Guess what? ...#3 is all that counts at this stage of the race!

I think even if Independents liked McCain more in the debate they would eventually vote against Republicans. People are tired of the last 8 years.

I think after the VP debates, Independents will like the Obama/Biden ticket even better

I noticed he wasn't wearing it a few times this week also. Maybe he was a little too busy working his political stunts this week and forgot to put it on.

I agree, the difference in their knowledge and the grasp of foreign policy was so startling. McCain has so much more experience with this and it is just something he knows backward and forward.
