Where is the leadership of one Barack Obama?

During what everyone is calling a crisis or financial meltdown, Obama is no where to be found.

Nancy Pelosi could not even get her own party to vote for this bill that she wanted so badly.

Now for me, a real leader will jump up and stand out during times like this and get his/her voice heard.

Obama is no where to be found at all on this.

Is this what he will do as President by sitting around doing nothing and yet have the guts to criticize the rep for voting against it. Especially when 40 members of his own party voted against this.

Obama was nominated by his party to be the speaker of his party at several meetings and he declined to do so other then 2 sentences.

Where is his leadership, the dems could have got this passed on their own without any rep voting. They had the votes but Pelosi could not pull the vote.

So where is Obama at and what is he doing in Colorado in the time of need?

I know the normal McCain bashing will hit but McCain went to Washington and Obama did not want to go but caved into the pressure.

Now I wonder if Obama is so special why has he not stood up and did something?

He has shown me no leadership abilities at all and has not stepped up to the plate for all Americans.

Bailout plan: In this time of crisis, this is really the chance for both McCain and Obama to show their leadership in handling the crisis. May the successful candidate wins.

No, it isn't the time for either candidate to "show leadership." It is a time for them to stay out of it, since this is an issue that might cripple America. It should not be a political agenda or a reason for either party to agree or disagree. There was already an agreement on Friday until McCain brought his political ambition into it.

Funny, for someone who has openly admitted that the economy is his weakness, McCain is certainly claiming he has a lot of influence regarding the final outcome.

McCain was actually taking credit for the bill...before it lost. That's leadership?

They're both probably reacting like the rest of us: at home going, "Oh sh#t, there goes my money!" while the stock prices drop.

Exclamation Leadership?

In eight years the Republican leadership left the stock Market lower today than President Clinton's last day in Office.

WOW!!

McCain's posturing was absolutely ridiculous and yes I agree Obama is being pretty quiet. They both were sitting in the Oval office last week for all it's worth.

They should be as freaked out as everyone else is. This is some smelly stuff. It is frightening and crippling. The Obama adds look to me like FDR fireside talks and if he gets too opinionated he is accused of acting all presidential like before he is president.

Maybe he is hunkering down working out the next "new deal"! Actually he was in Florida today campaigning. Why is there two g's in that word?
