Hey, with a little makeup, we can get Harrison Ford or Brad Pitt to play Putin on SNL and debate "Palin" about all those flights.

Well, at least we all stand corrected and have been informed by Mr. Biden that Hoover was on t.v when the big crash came in 29. LMAO
But seriously, I am sure he will do very well in the debate, that is his strong point, other than US History, but I am still voting McCain/Pallen and I am confident if he should end up with foot in mouth you will support the candidate of your choice as well.

Because she's so incredibly close to Russia that as soon as the craft took off, she was blinded by the ignition backfire. Therefore, she couldn't say for certain what they were and, as is usual for Palin, held back rather than spewing ridiculous, uninformed, totally inaccurate information....which would have so not been her style. Nope. In the entire history of the STATE of Alaska, no governor has ever visited there. Until Palin mentioned seeing Russian from Alaska, the residents of Kiska didn't think the Governor knew they existed.

Just in case some of you don't know: Russian bombers and fighters routinely check our air defenses in Alaska. When this happens, the Air Force dispatches our aircraft to intercept them. That's one of the reasons why the Air Force is so large up here. Also, several international flight exercises, (including NATO forces) are conducted each year. Alaska has the only Missile Defence Shield in the nation, and one of the AF runways is a landing backup for the Shuttle. NASA conducts rocket experiments in Alaska, too. Another thing unique to Alaska is IARC (the largest of its kind in the Northern Hemisphere).
