Anti-Obama Sign Sparks Calls of Racism (http://ozarksfirst.com/content/fulltext/?cid=70321 - broken link)
Quote:
We’re just 26 days away from Election Day. And as the days count down, both campaigns seem to be increasing their attacks. Yet it’s not just the campaigns on the attack.
Highway 63 just south of West Plains sees a lot of travelers entering southwest Missouri.
And as they get into the state, they’re being greeted with a billboard that some say goes beyond an attack ad. In fact, some say it’s racism at its worst.
Billboards are meant to draw attention. Yet this one seems to be stopping traffic altogether.
The picture is in poor taste, the statements are largely correct. The calls for him to remove it: he's got a right to have it on his property regardless of how bad it is.
That billboard absolutely encapsulates every fear-baiting talking point that the McCain/Palin campaign has created and continues to fire. Perfect example of their base reflecting what they've been told to believe.
Hmmm...just looked up the statistics for West Plains, MO here on City Data. Lets just say that there are some numbers related to income, ethnicity, number of sex offenders per capita, etc., that may explain this sign......
Cry Cry Cry .....Don't Obama supporters, support Freedom of Speech. I mean the media can spout off biased questions, re arrange their network so Obama can get a 30 second spot, choose to ignore all of the bad things about Obama, yet point out the smallest thing about McCain....
and your upset over a billboard...ha...it's kinda funny

Or maybe it's true and it's what we really believe. Ya think?
