Democrats run around encouraging everyone to accept and embrace their homosexual sons and daughters.
And what, pray tell, is a parent to do, republican or democrat, when a beloved child finally unloads this burden and shares this part of him/herself? Shame on you if you suggest that a parent should do anything but accept, love, and embrace a child, regardless of sexual orientation. My parents are staunch republicans and fundamentalist Christians and probably believe every word those robocalls are telling them in eastern NC, but they still love and accept my homosexual brother. It's real life - get a grip.

Excellent post and rep for you. The poster you replied to is a prime example of why I despise most repubs.

Um, shouldn't everybody be anti-war??

It's a sad day in America when if one is not a warmonger, they are considered anti-American.

Yet another example of how the extreme wing of the Republican party has come to define it.

I've got staunch GOP parents (who love Palin. ugh) but they love my gay brother just like any of their kids. Rep+1 to you Esperanza.

Hey, raise taxes on everyone then, not just the ones you point your finger to.

For the good of the country, to help bring down the debt, middle class folks should also get a tax hike.

If Congress passed a law that said only registered Democrats have to pay higher taxes, would that be OK with you?

It seems that it is perfectly fine with Democrats to seek out a source of money and then take it in collusion.

Just like most loving parents would.

Really, this whole "all republicans hate gay people" thing is getting old. There are quiet a few homophobic democrats out there as well.

Palin Explains What Parts Of Country Not "Pro-America"
The McCain campaign is seeking to clarify a remark reported from a Sarah Palin fundraiser in North Carolina yesterday in which the Alaska Governor declared that she loved to visit the "pro-America" areas of the country -- implying, implicitly, that there were some parts of the United States she viewed as not pro-America.

Readers what does this say to you about America under President Palin after McCain steps down for health reasons?
Just what we need, someone who doesn't recognize that the entire Nation is "From sea to shining sea".

Why do Repugs think it's should be free to live in the USA?
Even if you don't pay more federal taxes, which as a result, hurt state and local taxes, well guess what? Your state and local taxes go......UP!
Are you Repugs really dumb enough to think that you got an ecomomic break (unless you are part of the 2% crowd that Bush loves) with these tax cuts while your gas prices almost doubled?
Sounds like a wash to me.

Woody Guthrie
]This land is your land This land is my land
]From California to the New York island;
]From the red wood forest to the Gulf Stream waters
This land was made for you and Me
As I was walking that ribbon of highway,
I saw above me that endless skyway:
I saw below me that golden valley:
This land was made for you and me.[
]I've roamed and rambled and I followed my footsteps
And all around me a voice was sounding:
This land was made for you and me.
]When the sun came shining, and I was strolling,
And the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling,
As the fog was lifting a voice was chanting:
This land was made for you and me.
]As I went walking I saw a sign there
And on the sign it said "No Trespassing."
But on the other side it didn't say nothing,
That side was made for you and me
]In the shadow of the steeple I saw my people,
By the relief office I seen my people;
As they stood there hungry, I stood there asking
Is this land made for you and me?
Nobody living can ever stop me,
As I go walking that freedom highway;
Nobody living can ever make me turn back
This land was made for you and me

Keep the peace!
