Just a quick question for you here.......where have your tax dollar been going for the last 8 yrs. And a quick reminder to you, your money is currently being used to bail out folks with salaries well above 700K. Where is the logic here? Please explain.

THANK YOU.

Good thing that little trick (the bailout) isn't "socialist".

If your businesses income (written down) is over $250k, you better get ready for a huge lifestyle change if you decide to go on welfare.

Is its (I have it on ignore) assumption all libs are takers? Last I checked the blue states provided 2/3 of the revenue of the federal government.. talk about freeloaders.. nasty libs!

Yes. We're all hippies with dirty bare feet lying around taking Welfare checks, braiding one another's hair and having sex.

No wonder she's jealous.

It's very childish and self destructive to say "if I net $150k instead of $175k, then I'm going to go on welfare where I will net $15k, just so I don't have to pay more taxes".

I am a wife of a small business owner. We live very comfortably (in one of the most expensive areas of the country) without coming even close to 250k taxable.

From what you say you make over $250,000 per year, and you are going on welfare if your taxes go up 3 or 4 % only on the portion of your income over $250,000. Go ahead tell me another one. Oh wait you are believing McCain's lies aren't you.

I'll say it again....The additional tax would only be applied on the portion of net income over $250,000. If you are in that tax bracket and are objecting to this I have just one thing to say....Greed.

It's some sort of inner resentment at "having to" work or something of that nature that comes out in the things you say...and then you attribute YOUR thoughts to other people.

The reality is completely different. But you can only make yourself feel better if you believe "the next guy" (/gal) has these thoughts too.

Keep dreaming.
It's not an exaggeration. I pay 37% now with my small business. Under Obama it will be 50%+. And that's not including state taxes.

So no, I don't see why I should continue to work so that others can sit and collect my hard-earned money. And I think a lot of others feel the same way. I have always given to society. The day that I pay 57%+ in taxes (federal, social security, medicare, state - doesn't even count sales tax, property tax, real estate tax!) is the day I quit.

Okay, so quit. There are plenty of much more motivated, self-respecting individuals who will be happy to start businesses regardless, so I don't think the nation will be suffering when your business folds.
