I have at least 5 relatives who have either nicknames or childhood names that are different then what they use as adults. So why is a it a problem if Barry the child uses Barak as an adult?

They used his step-father's name so he could attend Muslim school in Indonesia. He chose to be called Barry in order to appear to be more mainstream.

The real reason was after his welfare case momma dumped him on granny to raise he was ashamed of his name and his race and that name and changed it to fit in.

So the mere mention of his name would conjure up Saddam Steve.

My mom's name was Jelena. Called herself Helen. Wanted a more Americanized name. I guess some people want to conform to our American ways. Isn't that what you want? People learning English, putting their ethnicity aside and embracing Americanism? There were not too many blacks in Hawaii and with a name like Barack, going with Barry made things a bit easier.

.... if it’s true that Obama’s name is actually “Barry Soetoro”, as it increasingly seems (and as it’s recorded on his birth certificate)......

I think I'll change my name to Rob Hussein Hu.
I can run for Pres in 2012.
I wont know anymore about how to be Pres than Barry Barrack Hussein Obama does.
But I can talk good and hogwash some people.
Maybe even get some pork.
I'll have my own Joe the Plumber.
But he will be called Ahib Mohammed the latrine digger.
Because the latrine is where we will be if this guy who has connections to subversive groups and white people haters is elected. Even some of my African American friends can see through his charade and won't vote for him.
Why do you think the Islamic people in countries who hate us want us to refer to him as our Messiah?
It's a first step.

Well, I guess I wont change my name or run for president.
I'm not capable of being president.
But I will only vote for someone who I think has America's best interests at heart.
Don't matter what color their skin is.
Obama scares me. I think he has ulterior motives.
