I find it very ironic, that the GOP snorted, laughed and back slapped over this title. It was this skill that allowed him to run one of the most efficient campaigns in history.

No one's going to be laughing soon, not even your gloating ---. (thanks to your president elect) Laugh it up while you still can.

Well Republicans have never liked community organizers in general because they are particularly effective at giving voices to minorities who otherwise have little political clout. They see them as a nuisance.

Indeed. Obama's campaign was very sharp indeed. In fact it was noting his calm collected demeanor in the debates and the great success of the campaign team he put together (the wisdom of the 50-state strategy etc) that really turned me from someone pleased with Obama to someone REALLY pleased with Obama.

I never got the need for a community organizer. If you keep tabs on your community and don't let it go to pot, you don't need one. Elect competent people to run things and your community won't fall apart. Stay involved and care about your community and everybody benefits.
So some places are allowed to get run down and people need somebody to do what they won't do for themselves. Maybe thats why I didn't vote for Obama, I didn't see the need to have somebody help me do things I already do for myself.

Palin ticked me off in her convention speach making fun of people who work for their communities.

GO back to Wasilla you tard. Americans don't want you.

When you go back don't kill wolves and destroy the environment though.

I think it's experience, and a quality, that will serve him well in reaching across the aisle.
