The Los Angeles Times does not print retractions when they are caught lying. When they printed that Sarah was unaware Africa was a continent, they knew it was a lie. When the New York Times recently exposed the Los Angeles Times lie, they still did not print a retraction. So the lack of a retraction is no indiction that they are telling the truth. Remember, being a leftist freak means you never have to say you're sorry.

'This savage', huh? I wonder if I could get a way with referring to a certain politician as a 'savage'.

Oh, I get it. I'm suppose to believe someone whose posts are right wing, self serving crap, filled with hatred of all that is not so far to the right as to shame the KKK, because he or she says they speak the truth and everything else is bull scat. Gotcha!

The NYT printed no such expose. Now you're lying. If they did, provide a link.

Ha. So you're one of the people who either didn't read, or who couldn't comprehend, that article. The Palin-Africa blunder is NOT what was exposed as a hoax. The IDENTITY OF THE SOURCE was the hoax. Some idiot pretended to be the McCain advisor who leaked the story, and it was later found out that he wasn't a McCain advisor at all.

The story itself was not proven to be a hoax. As it stands, there is still an anonymous McCain advisor who leaked the story to the press, that Palin didn't know Africa is a continent. That gaffe was not proven in any way, shape or form to be false. The source is still out there, remaining anonymous. The guy who claimed to be the mcCain advisor who leaked the story, turned out not be a McCain advisor. His identity was false...not the fact that Palin didn't kow that Africa's a continent.

Quote:
The hoax was limited to the identity of the source in the story about Palin -- not the FOX News story itself. While Palin has denied that she mistook Africa for a country, the veracity of that report was not put in question by the revelation that Eisenstadt is a phony.

Say I called up MSNBC and claimed to be the McCain advisor who leaked the story, and MSNBC reported such. Then, say it was later discovered that I was not the anonymous source, and MSNBC had to retract the story they reported about me being the source. It would make the identity of the source a hoax, but it would not invalidate the Palin-Africa geographical gaffe at all.

Who's the smart one now, genius boy? Learn to read and comprehend, then you can join in the intelligent adult discussion.
