I'm glad you aren't here either.

What "story" are you referring to anyway? You obviously cannot detect a joke which would explain why you didn't fit in Texas.

Flying around in his business jet and caravan of SUV's making money from giving Global Warming speeches. He's made tens of millions of dollar in recent years. He was the keynote speaker at my company's annual leadership meeting and I asked our CEO how much he cost and he said $300K.

What kind of a speech did he give at your company?

"Cooling" is a factor in global warming. I mean, if you care about your children's future.
Truly incredible. So... if the planet warms or cools, that's still global warming, right? So that means the enviro-wackos have an answer to everything. Freezing spell - global warming. Heat wave - global warming. Do I have that right? Do you realize how utterly stupid this is?

Tell me something; what is the optimum temperature of the planet?

You do realize that the planet has been experiencing "climate change" for billions of years don't you?

Yes, that's right, sanrene. "Global warming" is more about shifts in warming AND cooling cycles. It's not about the earth just getting "warmer." I provided links for you from the USC website, so that you could understand this better.

And climate scientists are well aware of the history of climate change, which is why--a few years ago--they hesitated before arriving at a conclusion. They now know: the global "warming" the earth is now experiencing has nothing to do with historical periods of climate shift. What is happening now is almost exclusively anthropogenic. Most scientists further believe that it's also too late for "cap-and-trade" schemes. That we need to get serious, and fast.

Washington Times - Obama's positive press sets record
Al Gore campaigns for Obama in Florida - Los Angeles Times
Reporting from Coconut Creek, Fla. -- The ghost of Democrats' dashed hopes in 2000, former Vice President Al Gore, urged Florida supporters of Barack Obama on Friday to take advantage of early voting -- and to take nothing for granted.

"Take it from me -- elections matter. Every vote matters," Gore said

Most of the global warming alarmists are not climate scientists or any other relevant scientist. As you must know science is not based on consensus - and so far, more and more relevant scientists are coming forward declaring the "theory" (and that's all it is - based on faulty models) a bunch of bunk.

Whats the optimum temperature of the Earth? If we actually knew that, we might be able to say with certainty if we are facing a catastrophic and irreversible problem.

Did you know the arctic ice cap is expanding?? Imagine that - after all the doomdays wackos last year claiming the melt was unheard of. Now what do they say about the greatest growth of the ice in decades? More, more, more global warming it must be!

Did you know that Mars' ice is melting?

Could it have anything to do with the ......... SUN!!

Didn't old Al claim in the 80's we only had about 10 years left? Didn't the loons claim the oceans would boil away in 10 years - back in the 80's? Didn't the loons say we were entering a mini-ice-age in the 80's?

How can we possible PREDICT what will happen in 40 years when we can't even predict climate and weather systems within any given year?
