omg dont watch it on local stations it more ticker than the inaugrations why dont they just put a small message that says ok things will be closed enter at your risk..
Im sorry but I am worry about these people bladders lol 1.5 miillion people and only 6000 porta potties that doesnt equal out to be fast lines at those locations.
I am thrilled that with the snow I'll be able to skip class and watch the inauguration instead! Snow and Obama's inauguration, it's an awesome day to be a Chicagoan in Charlotte, I will remember it forever!
I also worry about the port-o-potty issue. Looking at the crowds I don't even know how you'd GET to the potties, plus they probably don't have enough!
Politics aside, I think it's great that America will finally be able to start this new chapter. The transition time is so awkward, it will be great to get the country moving again.
Have had the tv on CNN all morning. So is the consensus that they will have the best coverage? I wonder if C-SPAN is covering it . . . I guess I better check. Sometimes I like their coverage b/c no one is yapping (talking head anchors).
I agree about the politics aspect. I am praying that Obama is able to successfully address the huge problems facing this country. It has to be one of the toughest periods EVER for a new President.
This is a very historic day and I am so glad I will be able to watch it all.
I've been watching on CNN but will switch to MSNBC. CNN's "info" box at the bottom of the screen is just TOO annoying. They're doing the same thing they did over the election, posting 'facts' and 'what's next.' Seriously, our 42" tv is reduced to about 20" by all of the clutter.
