No. imo, men are more rational and tend to vote for the better candidate whereas women are more emotional and might vote for the guy just b/c they picture him as "husband material".

is that how obama won, on the issue of "attractiveness" to women?

i don't see "good-looking" mentioned at all in the editorial endorsements of brown over coakley by both the boston herald and the cape cod times.

It's certainly how John Kennedy won the seat in the first place. Not sure about Teddy though . . . .

I think race, unfortunately, plays a much bigger part then looks.

He is good looking, no denying that, but how many are voting for him because of his looks, I would guess not many...

Boy don't give us too much credit??? So we don't have brains, I guess that would be a good reason not to vote for Martha, women in your estimation are emotional figures with nothing upstairs...
