If stereotypes were true then we would not call them stereotypes, but just "the truth".
Said this, it's true girls here look on average better than in other places, but not that much than in other countries. And they all don't look like models at all. I guess it's a matter of taste.
That about perfecting their image it is somehow true. Even most ugly girls here are really coquettish.
And also, girls in Spain are not as dark skinned/haired as a lot of americans believe. Most of girls here have their hair brown, and blondes are not unusual either.
About what Spanish men do like or consider beautiful... I think it is just like in everywhere else.
Most of people here do care about mind, but at the same time we have our appearance preferences. There are people who only care about appearance but people like this exist everywhere.
Blondes, brunettes, girls very pale, tanned girls, asians, latinamericans... All of these are considered here.
One of the most outstanding characteristics of the spaniard woman are their beautifull legs, specially the womans from north Spain like Galicia, Asturias and Castilla-Leon have very shapely legs ( "perniles" ) , and yes indeed, the beauty of the spaniard woman is lush compared to the rest of the World's women.

It's a matter of taste Angel Calzadilla. For me the ones with beautiful legs are asian girls... And probably some other people will consider black girls the ones with beautiful legs. Others though may consider those from Scandinavian countries with their higher average height the ones with more beautiful legs.
Spanish women differ from their Northern European partners by the fact that they socialize and walk more, so people dress more trendy and fashionable. In Spain everything is open when Swedes, Germans and French are in their fifth dream. There's also daylight, wine, cerveza and tapas and gossip, people go out more often.

Spanish women tend to be quite hairy, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, many are loud and belligerent. Also, they tend to be promiscuous, which is consistent with the rampant Roman Catholicism in Spain.
Overall, one could do worse - consider the UK, USA, or Peru, for example.

It's interesting, they want to pretend they are promiscuous and really open but oftenly that's just a facade they set for whatever reason while in reality are pretty conservative.
Spanish women from Logroño wear one piece tangas when nobody from Logroño is around.
