Its happening in most of Europe. Far right groups are on the rise. From Scandinavia to Greece Europeans are making that turn. The biggest issues for them are immigration, extreme islamists and government corruption.
It's a center right party (with a small contribution of a more rightist party) who won the Norwegian election. Hardly a scary event, or a revolution. This week end in Bavaria too the traditional conservative Christian Social Party (CSU) won the election. The extreme right earned...1% of the vote (and the extreme left 2%). A healthy democracy too in my book .
Ah, now you are mentioning Austria. Well, general elections will take place on September 29. Recent opinion polls suggest that our far-right party (FPÖ) will get 20% of votes. The other populist party probably won't get into the parliament again. That's -8% for all populist right wing parties (neuwal.com Wahlumfragen - neuwal.com Politik- und Wahljournal) Not really what I'd consider "on the rise".
And 70% of the Hungarian parliament is far-right? Last time I checked, Fidesz was member of the European People's Party. But I agree that it's worrisome that Jobbik got 16% in 2010.
Nothing to debate about Chrysi Avgi, though. But one have to keep the Greek economy and some of the corruption scandals in mind when discussing their politics.

* Golden Dawn is actually the third biggest party in Greece with a 11% share at this time!
Encourage all to read the full article above!
Ah, thanks for that. Another left wing written article. What the article does not mention however is that the cause of the so called "far right" rise in Europe is exactly because of the left wing of politics.

I don't see it as far left but I also don't care if it is. The fact is that there is a rise of the far right and I am not about to get into politics. I am pretty much stating a fact.
WildWestDude is afraid, the horrible fascist bogeyman is coming back.
You need to relax, dude.
How did you conclude that? By stating facts?
