Germans built a bridge like that during ww2. Building is not a problem, making sure a bridge would last a few years is the problem. No leading global construction and supplier corp. would touch that bridge. So after Russians will steal 50% of the money, they'll pay what's left to do the work as usual. Putin's crony in charge of construction is not known for his monumental achievements in the bridge construction trade. Will it last, assuming it will be built? Wonna bet your farm, or at least your archive of Russia Today on that bridge?
Who knows if it will last. The German Bridge only lasted about 6 months from what I understand. It is no comparison to this one and I can see they are greatly concerned with the foundations of the pylons and the roadbed and are putting extra effort into it. No doubt they will have problems with settling of the structures concerned and I would be very watchful of the rail lines being laid on it. The seabed is not very stable but it seems to me that measures have been taken to prevent any serious problems.

Part open this fall and be entirely operational in 2018.
This is good news. Residents of the peninsula is in need of this bridge. In parallel, there are works to strengthen the energy supply. There submarine cables laid and electric network is modernized, new power substation construction.
Brave. While such things are getting very common in parts of the "progressive" and "enlightened" west Russians still have to catch up a little. Thankfully.
I liked it a lot, but I don't think people here understand what "Internal immigration" the Russian way is.
P.S. From what I've gathered, practically no one in Russia is aware about the restrictions and crack-down on British trouble-makers ( football fans) - everyone seems to be aware only about their reputation. This distorts the public opinion about everything what happened BIG TIME, unfortunately.
