Yes, TU 154 doesn't have a good safety record, but this was MoD plane, so I would think they'd take better care of it. So we can only wait and see the results of investigation at this point.

And you should not mix Donbass and terrorists in Syria. Donetsk rebels do not use people as human shields. People can leave the area if they want it. Syrian rebels are terrorizing the local residents. This is important distinction.

Ukrainian forces dont use massive airstrikes to residential areas.
By the way terrorists is banned in Russia ISIS only, not syrian opposition.

The main sign of terrorists is terror of local residents. The opposition did not allow residents to leave the city for a special humanitarian corridors. Also in Aleppo Syrian troops were fighting terrorist groups which have been recognized by the UN. For example, Al-Nusra Front (Al-Qaeda cell) and others.
