Most UK cities have fewer rainy days than the German cities. The south coast of England is sunnier than the sunniest part of Germany. The winters are far warmer in the UK, and the summers in London are about as warm as those in Berlin or Munich.
the geographic location alone tells you why the UK has more rain than Germany. and summers hotter than here? seriously
London is drier than most German cities, it is also sunnier than Berlin (Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight and other locations on the south coast are sunnier than anywhere in Germany). Places further east in Essex are drier than anywhere in Germany, averaging around 500mm precip.

All BS, except that a small part of the southern coast is indeed sunnier than the most sunniest German location, but this is totally insignificant compared to the total area. Just look at Wales and Scottland and it's clear that Germany is way drier than the UK. Don't kid yourself, the stereotype that it's always cloudy and rains in the UK is mostly true.

Not BS at all. London's summers are actually warmer than those in Munich, and it's much drier over the year as well. Look up the stats.
Berlin averages 1626 hours of sunshine, London averages 1653 hours.

London's summers are similar to Berlin or Munich.
Germany is closer to the equator than the UK. Hence it's warmer. Put it like you want, but the only region that comes close to UK's weather is north Germany which is like on the same level as the UK.
