Everybody wants a better EU, reality however is different, things were getting worse and not better. Maybe after the brits are out, the EU is forced to get 'better' in order to still exist in the future.

It's the same thing with Donald Trump supporters. "If we do this the world will go back to how it use to be!" Whelp hate to break it to them, but that's not the case. The eastern world is becoming an equal to the west. Technology forever changed the landscape of the world, and it isn't going to bring cheap labor jobs back to the UK and US.

The germans got smart after the last bit of trouble in the 40's. If they can't defeat you with an army they will buy you out! One way or the other the boot is on your neck!!!
