Germany is an ok country with good beer and attractive women (relatively speaking) but beyond this they seem to be in two stages, either fully pacifist or homicidal maniac stage. At every chance they have gotten they have destroyed civilization after civilization from the romans during the time of Nero to the Greeks today. Do they ever have anything good to offer others besides their arrogance, tanks, or debt collectors?
I was just in Germany (just got back) and while people acted nice that was the problem. It all felt like an act, I almost felt like I was in the middle of this huge cult of dark thinkers who are deep down very much worse than they let on.
Can they change? Will they ever move pass their nazi past, and will they ever stop forcing refugees on countries that can't handle them and stop profiting on the suffering of other EU nations?

It doesn't matter really, Germany lost military power, they're now loosing political and economic power (Brexit - the beginning of the end of the eu).
Better question to ask is: What will happen to the countries who are "allies" of Germany today (France, Eastern Europe, Greece, Italy, Turkey). Their future is unclear.

I wouldn't be too sure about the first paragraph, they seem to be coming down hard on Britain and tightening the coils around Greece. With Erdogen, Putin, Trump, etc. Merkel has positioned herself (falsely) as the only alternative and now everyone must submit to the german power.

They're the only alternative in alternative universe where only Western countries exist.
The UK is still projected to become Europe's biggest economy in 10-20 years and they are improving their ties with their best friends from India who are now the the world's fastest growing economy.
Greece for now accepts German rule because they give them loans who the Greeks of course can't repay. It will be a miracle if Greece is still a country after 20 years, they don't produce anything and get loan after loan...
The only people outside Germany who like the country/immigrate there are closeted racists who think the world is just beer and BMW. As these people will be the future generations you can guess they can't do much.

What's the OP's agenda? I see this type of stuff posted about another country all the time and it's all high fives from the audience. There's definitely a double standard.
