I'm not saying you are wrong, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 3 out of my 4 long term relationships have been less than 5'2'' tall and curvy, my ex-wife was 5', 115lb and a nice D cup bra. So I'm not judging on taste.

I worked out a bit too much and briefly hit the 145 pounds range. I decided to stop the shrinking and bring weights back into the inventory after a long break. I've re-entered the 150s, I think I am packing muscle, but the point is to look trim when clothed, especially suits. Fat guys look bizarre in suits, it's like a suit on a pumpkin

Suits are designed for the V body shape, where the shoulders are wide and they taper towards the waist. I've invested 1000s in clothing and not gonna jeopardize that, that's the driver to stay fit

Though I'm personally particular about being trim, I have a similar opinion when it comes to the ladies. I like a little meat Curvy women with baby fat are the prettiest, hands down. Fit women just don't do it for me, they somehow develop men's faces.

I think I know what you are talking about. Just that bit of baby fat in all the right places. A little in the cheeks, a nice rack and one of those cute bubble butts that begs to peak under a short skirt.

I learned this poem as a kid - chubby cheeks, dimple chin, rosy lips, curly hair blah blah blah... these athletic and toned chicks are the exact anti-thesis of what women have been throughout history since inception.

No more chubby cheeks, no more dimples on cheeks or chin, there's a skin on a famished face and that is it. Not attractive at all. Which is why many celeb women indulge in all forms of plastic surgery to pump the face up

In my gym, there are female trainers with the best of bodies, but the faces - total turn off

So strong women like Joan Of Arc and Cleopatra don't count as physically strong historical ladies? I will have to keep that in mind.

I like the full face look in ladies myself. Must be the Native American in me.

I like a sculpted face but then there are those women that look like they have what I call a 'horse bone' appearance in the face. Paleness is one thing but gaunt is another and depravation doesn't make a woman look at all attractive.

You can tell between the women who physically train to be thinner and those who actually starve themselves to try and look thinner.

It isn't pretty in the slightest.

Weird thing is, I don't look 185lbs, people figure me for 170 or so. My shape is a lot like a 1960's Dick Van Dyke.

I personally prefer guys who are a little more athletic/ thicker in build
I think of myself as a "Slim" build. Im 6' 1" and 185 lbs. Always been a "skinny" but very athletic dude even as a little kid. Skinny helps keep my "V" shape.

I'm 6 feet and weight 185, and have been told many, many times that I'm too thin to be considered dating material.
Are you living in the deep south? Come to southern California, and you would be considered "chubby" by many fitness conscious people here. I'm not agreeing with them, I think your height/weight is fine, but I think this is a geographic thing. 6'0 and 185 isn't "too thin" by any stretch of the imagination.
