Dating Female bodybuilders and athletes - hard to find? (weightlifting, gym, bodybuilding)

Its very hard to find athletic women, female bodybuilders ,powerlifters ,etc.
I know that alot of guys don't like that or intimidated by them.

As a guy who competes in weightlifting, bb, and other physical sports I would love to meet someone who understands the lifestyle.

Its just so hard to find them in the southeast.

Gyms here are guys , wives and kids - and I don't like using the gym to pick up.

I tried fitness singles - great site, but very few profiles in the south.

Am the only guy attracted to this type exclusively?
Any ladies who fit this profile on here?

Well, if you compete in major competitions--it's hard to believe that you haven't found a female at one of them (for whatever federation you compete in).

Come to Venice beach, California. These "women" are all over the place, a dime a dozen.

Note I refer only to female bodybuilders. Female athletes are an entirely different category. Athletic women should be ubiquitous in any place.

Most PEOPLE aren't into even staying in shape around here. Let alone atheletes or bodybuilders.

Of course you're not alone, but you are in the minority. Guys tend to like women who are, well, womanly. Not gigantic and muscular.

So true. You'd think that by the OP competing in bodybuilding and such he would have met some women who are also into that. I think I am pretty serious into fitness/healthy living and even I rarely find or see women who are bodybuilders. Dude must be doing something wrong because if he's competing, there should be women's events there as well.

Would like to know which federation he competes with as well. OP?

I don't think its rare everywhere. Its not L.A. crazy here but there are a lot of fit girls out there. They appear under 30 mostly. But who knows for sure if they are taking care of themselves.

Have you tried Crossfit? I know a lot of women are involved.

I have not seen a "bodybuilding" woman at any crossfit gym. The OP says he is into bodybuilding so he would know that there is a huge difference between a woman who is into bodybuilding and one who is say a crossfit chick. Big difference.

Heck, here in L.A. where most people are into fitness and exercise, even I rarely if ever see a bodybuilding woman. Very rare.

Bodybuilding women are like Big Foot............you know they exist because you've seen evidence of them on TV, but you just never seen one in person.
