Adistars are comparable to using Eleiko competition bars versus a (do-wins) Pendlay bar.

There's nothing like an Eleiko. Same goes for the Adistars (Or romeleo's)

I'm on my feet all day at work and I find that New Balance hold up the best. They're really comfortable and they don't break down every six months like other brands I've worn.

Personally, I am looking into the Reebok Nano, the New Balance Minimus, or something from the Inov-8 line. I don't know if I should have some sort of transition sneaker in between as I know there is significantly less support. I thought I'd see what everyone here uses and recommends.

What kind of sneakers do you wear and what does your routine look like? Would you buy them again?
I know they are Nike, I don't know what flavor. I got them because a job I had required I be on my feet all day long and by the end of the first week, it was like walking on bruises. Horribly painful. Had to go and invest some money in to good shoes.

I got some that have that air or gel or whatever it is. I then added some Dr. Scholl's inserts in them for more comfort and now? They are THE most comfortable shoes I've EVER owned. It's like walking on clouds. They were expensive, (for me), but worth every last penny.

I've worn lots of the other brands, but a couple of years ago I went to our local running store The Fit Process - Fleet Feet and got fitted for shoes. I bought the Brooks DYAD5. It made a huge difference in comfort and arch support, and I've used them primarily for walking. I'm now starting to add a little jogging into my walking routine, so I decided to get some new shoes. Today I went back to the same store, and bought another pair of DYADS, version 7, and a pair of Brooks Glycerin. Looking forward to hitting the trail!!

New Balance 750s are what my friend uses. They seem to work for him.

I just use a pair of black Sketchers. I have no idea if they are specifically for anything. I just saw them, liked them, and bought them. Speaking of that, I need to buy a new pair. My are getting kinda crusty..
